i used to have it on dvd somewhere. watched it two times but it
really isn't that much to look at.

it's about brooks and wally (iirc) going to a party and nicking
some jewlery off a rich woman and getting sent to jail for it..

i think there's also a party scene with madhouse performing on
stage and some pretty goofy prince-speak chit chat.

it clocks in at about 20 minutes iirc. haven't watched it in an
eternity.

the best part of this film is the little snippet of madhouse performing in a party scene where you can see prince's dad playing pool. it's kind of like the prince version of the cantina bar scene in "star wars". otherwise, it's just the squirrelmeat boys doing a bad prototype version of christopher tracy and tricky, and jill jones trying her best to look sexy in the middle of all the mess.

what had me laugh was that one clip where i dont think it was suppose to be in the actual movie itself {or some editing mistake} where she was crawling on the floor and u can hear the crowd humming the song.

I forget what this film was for...was it just something P was doing in his downtime to teach himself how to direct?

the only time i've ever seen it on a "release" was on moonraker's
"Freedom 1.0" which had a bunch of clips ranging from very early
live performances to the live "A Case of You" during the purple
rain era to "Girls & Boys" at first avenue and "Daddy Pop" and a
clip of "Face Down" on the chris rock show.

seriously, this is a piece you will watch once, cringe all the way through and wish you hadn't parted with yo' hard earned!. I am just so shocked that those involved even carried on with the filming.
I found mine BTW tagged onto the end of an unofficial SOTT DVD.

It's like an early John Waters movie. I had it on a DVD-R someplace but haven't seen it for years.

There's so little about it because it's a pretty obscure and relatively insignificant unreleased project. Consequently, it has only ever been detailed in works such as Uptown's 'The Vault' and fansite threads occasionally e.g. this thread, http://www.housequake.com...adid=60238 etc

.
