it's strange cos if someone sent me that in email, it'd make me smile...

but knowing Prince and knowing his beliefs I just don't like it coming from him or being on his website...

kinna like how Chris Rock can say a joke about African Americans and it's funny, but if Jay Leno made the same joke,people would be pissed...

the NPGMC site isn't lighthearted and fun, everything posted there has a big meaning to P and I just don't like the club saying this...

whatevs...that's why I never log on to his site anymore...

I do pray (the pun intended) that Prince withholds from such comments during ONA tour in Europe. Too many people here don't give a damn about religion, especially an organized one. After all, it is here where freeing individuals from religion started so now Prince can voice his opinions without any constraints.

This is such BS. The man has a right 2 go down his own path, but there are way too many people who'll follow him. The position he is in should make him think about releasing such silly statements.
I hope he doesn't bang on about this during the show. He sho' knows how to alieanate people, I'll give him that

I don't see what the fuss is about, He didn't say the atheist is going to hell, he said no where to go. If a Atheist do not believe in God or the Devil, Heaven or Hell,
then in his own mind he would have no where to go. Good Lord, If Prince follows their ideas (atheist) some get upset, if he states his own, more get upset, if he says nothing, more get upset, Just get upset and shut up!

I think it's all bullshit and it's sad that so many are all caught up in this crap. I also agree that it's of the utmost arrogance to assume you know the truth based on your religion. Prince will have egg all over his face one day when he announces that the JW religion is not what he really thought it was and is now moving on to some other ridiculous religion. Don't forget he was raised as a 7th day adventist and you all remember what happened to those nuts in Wako. It's just a matter of time before he realizes the JW's and most organized religions are dangerous.

It is his concert AND my money into it. It's a mutual transaction. Besides he advertises a music concert, not a religious event. If he had advertised the latter, I wouldn't be going. Simple.

I care what he thinks, otherwise I wouldn't be writing in this thread. However, there's little doubt he doesn't care what I think since he posts statements like this above. Respect all people and their way of thinking - that's my atheist way of perceiving others. So I respect Prince's but won't enjoy him disrespecting mine.

i will respect prince's right 2 believe whatever he chooses...but when he starts ramming it down ppl's throats through his official website i have a problem...someone pimp slap some sense in2 that lil man...

I respect Prince's ideas very much, not always agreeing witht them, and I don't think that this one was really all THAT bad. but I just don't think he should of put it up in PAisley newz, becuase it would hurt someones feelings. I do hgowever have no problem with Prince sharing all of his beliefs. BTW, religion and funk DO mix.
