man where do I start with this?

Prince is being who he is. He is religeous get over it...he always has been. Hes damn near 50 not 23. Hes matured and religeon is clearly imporatant to him and anyone who has faith talks about it...especially when asked. Christians are specifically called on to spread the word of Christ.

Look I'm sure your probably a nice person and all but you have issues. This dude is so happy to be free from all the BS. Its so clear. While I agree that his music isn't the same thats OK because all artists have a season or seasons. However Prince shouldn't compromise his intergrity all because you want him to wear high heal boots, lace panties & sing about makin love to Cherrys gone.

Get with it.... just enjoy the guy for the music that he gave you and that you love. Don't be mad at him for moving on to a different place

There are people that watched that SB appearance expecting Prince from 1986 to pop out any minute with his a$$ out, humping the stage singing like somebody kicked him in the nuts...those people hadn't moved on but were pleasantly suprised that Prince had. Sounds like you need to do the same...also might help you to enjoy some of the music he is doing a little better also

Let it go...let the vibe just flow

Where do I even start with this level of lunacy...

You're projecting a little there, I didn't mention any of the things you suggest. I'd just prefer it if Prince kept his nutty religious nonsense to himself and allow someone else to manage his publicity more intelligently. I don't dispute his right to pursue whatever beliefs make him happy, but he's trying to promote a tour here. Talking about his faith may impress some people on the other side of the Atlantic, but we're a bit more cynical in this part of the world. Prince should show some respect for his (primarily secular) audience and hold back on the Bible bullshit for a change. He's like a goddamn broken record. If he was really interested in growing as a human being, he should try reading something else for a change, getting himself an education instead of boring us all with his talk of prophets, theocratic orders and scripture.

Anyway, let's be real. If Prince was as profoundly Christian as he claims, as deeply religious and inspired by scripture as he suggests, he'd be spending his time on something more worthwhile than making a ton of cash off some rock concerts. A rich spoiled rocker like Prince telling us for the umpteenth how he'll be spending his spare time with his nose in his Bible needs to be treated with the same scepticism as MJ telling us that having children sleep in his bed is entirely innocent.
[Edited 5/9/07 4:20am]

Are you sure you've been listening to Prince records in the past?

You don't have to agree with his spiritual beliefs, and judging by your comments, you obviously don't. But you are delusional if you think that Prince isn't going to mention his beliefs in public.

He does on every album, if not every other track, he does at awards appearances and in concert. If you really don't care about his beliefs, well just ignore him. Ranting about it here just makes you look mental, not him!

BTW, this bit that's been in several press reports about him not playing a UK arena in 10 years is BS. I saw him at Wembley Arena in 98 & the One Nite Alone tour played arenas. Only I missed that one

OK, nine years since he played an arena.

The ONA 2002 shows didn't play at any arenas.

For ONA in 2002 in the UK he played the Hammersmith Apollo. That's a large theatre but it's no arena.

Ticketmaster now have the dates listed and there is also a seating plan. Don't think that looks like the smaller venue.

We wish we knew. I'd like to think that at least one will be at the Shrewsbury Music Hall. But that's as likely as my left leg becoming Jesus.

As soon as I know which concert I'll be at, I'll let you know and finally we can meet and exchange our collections of toy giraffes.

He definitely wanted his statement about The Bible to stick. That's why he walked out when he did.

Other than that, did anyone notice his statement about finding a place to live? This was in reference to his extended stays in Las Vegas and now London. Is he looking for his own resort somewhere?

"...paisley park is in your heart..."

In the reuters press report. .it stated he was looking for a place to stay while he is there during the time he will be performing in London, after it's over in August, that would be it for Europe for this year as far as shows/touring..you got about a good 2 weeks.

ah, thx! wink

Ok, check it out - those floor blocks cant be standing right...not spread out like that?

In which case how do you know which seat youve got.

I cant order standing with a Pregnant wife but, if I dont know if its sitting or not, what teh hell do i do? - it would mean getting tix, hoping they are sitting and if standing coming home on the night.

Any thoughts on what those sections are...perhaps temp seats?

After it failed to provide any floor seats I tried again... and am now stuck in a huge queue and will have cruddy seats no doubt. What gives with not dloing out the decent seats? Lost my enthusiasm for it now.

The 'decent seats' were given out...we just missed them because a split second makes all teh difference.

Look at me...i refreshed my browser constantly until the tix option popped up...im in Row X 111 on 3rd Aug but some people are well closer than me....but theres no way we were on at different times.

The floor seats were snapped up first along with the one Prince has allocated for VIP tix.

Luck of teh draw Im afarid
