Congrats! I took a 3121 posterboard display down in Walmart and "conveniently" put it under the bottom of my basket. Strolled right out the door with it,no questions asked!The lengths I go 2 4 Prince....

...and I asked about the "3121" posterboard that they had displayed aboved the CDs. About a month ago, I posted on the "Purpleneck" thread that a salesperson/hater told me I couldn't have it. So today I asked someone else. SHE was very accommodating! She told the same guy who told me no before to go get it down for me!

She told me to come back after a few weeks of displaying the "Planet Earth" board (if they receive one) and I could have that one too!

(My 40th birthday party decorations are shaping up nicely! )

Yes, "come back in a few weeks" are the exact same words a Borders employee
told me back in the Musicology days. I wanted the posters that were on display
for a person who is handicap and who is a big prince fan .
She told me she will write my name and phone number on the back
of the display and call me when it's ready to come down, I didn't believe her
so I had her write down my information on the display in front of me which she did,then I would come in the store now and then to check to see if they were still there because I truly didn't believe that woman. Then she told me "oh it should be coming down in a couple days, but I will definitely
call you", I waited and came a day early and they were gone and so was she.
I came back several times later to tell her how she lied, but she hasn't been
back since. I think she worked there just to get those posters

So don't believe everything they say, they will always look out for the friends
and family that are into Prince before they will give them to a outsider.
just keeping it real.
