Actually it was more of a Purple Rain dream. In it there was a whole different script to the movie....actually it was really different. Prince released the orignal movie to theaters.

I can't remember everything but it was darker and Apollonia was named Vanity( even though she was Apollonia) and came to Mpls because of some murder mystery . She needed Prince's help in exposing the corrupt cops in the area.

But the really cool thing was that it had some awesome preformance footage and in it George Clinton and Prince did an funktastic rendition of "Erotic City" together.

His old bodygaurd Big Chick had alot of scenes in it too.

It was all over the news as being Prince's big secret because he was able to keep this alternate Purple Rain movie a secret from bootleggers for so long.

I've dreamed about Prince, but never included Apple or Vanity. I dreamed I had a fight with Apple, Vanity and Carmen Electra once though.

I've had, I think 3 dreams of him the past month... each of them are completely different.
* In one, he's completely sentimental with me and tells me what seperates him from other artists (since then I've fallen 4 TGE and look for his heart within all of his work).
* In one, he's just there, randomnly observing w/o saying a word.
* Then in one, we're talking and I mention the Black Sweat video and he starts cracking up and says to me, 'you're such a bad girl'... cuz I was saying how his expression in the video make me laugh.

How many different personalities does "dream" Prince have?!

I had another dream last night... but I'm in disbelief about it.

I was watching him do a performance on TV, but it focused only his face, especially his eyes. He had his hair up like in the Diamonds & Pearls video, but he was singing " Hate U". His eyes looked glossy and shiny...

I woke up, not wanting that song in my head just becuz I don't want to get distracted by TGE when my studies are more important.

I thought back to his eyes and how they generally light up when he performs. I couldn't make myself believe that was really him. It was like he was fake, a counterfeit Prince if you will... like a robot... there was no life in his eyes and his lips showed no expression...
The guy's obviously tempting me to pick up TGE, but he failed yet again. I'll probably pick it up next week...

I love dreaming about Prince. A couple of nights ago, I dreamt that I had tickets to see Prince 5 nights in a row. Wow, that was a pretty cool dream.

Well the last dream I had was different from all my other dreams I've had about him usually he is ignoring me or doesn't notice me but this last dream he was looking for a girlfriend {yeesh typical girl dream} he was performing in my house and after he finished he saw me it was like we had knew eachother but we didn't. We started hugging and he wouldn't let me go then he finally said come let's go to the supermarket to get some cereal and I said o.k but I kept doing all this stuff b4 we left he kept telling me 2 come on but I wouldn't come fast enough then I woke up on that day.

For some reason Prince refuses to show up in my dreams.

This isn't saying much, but I didn't have my first dream of him until 7 weeks after I became a member here (and officially became his faithful follower)...

I still remember the lesson he taught me that night.

And who knows? Maybe if you use reverse psychology on him, "dream" Prince will make an appearance.

That's kinda how it happened the first time. I was just enjoying interviews from 98-99 for the sake of learning more... didn't once think "I hope I dream about him"...
Much like the Prince we all know and "love", "dream" Prince's movements are hard to predict and shows up when u least expect him.

I only had one Prince dream I can remember and it was sooooo lame...me and my mom are watching some awards show on TV and Prince comes out to accept an award or something, and he has strawberry blonde, shoulder length hair and we sit there watching like

I'm pretty sure that wasn't the whole dream, just the end of it...

Ha, the idea of these dreams brings me back to an episode of Boy Meets World where Corey keeps having dreams of him killing Shawn and Mr. Feeny gives him advice (in the dream). He tells the real Mr. Feeny about the dream and he says "I'm not responsible for 'dream' Feeny".

I figure that if I told Prince about my dream, he'd give me a line like that, so I note "dream" Prince as his own person... as real as he seemed in my 1st dream, you're right, it still won't be the same as meeting him in person.

Which I can only hope & dream will come to pass someday
