just read a statement of the possibility of releasing a new cd on 3/21..since it falls on wednesday and tuesdays are usually new releases what are the possibilities?...something to ponder about next few weeks

i haven't heard anything about that, but i guess anything is possible.

Probably not that soon. I've been watching the Velvet Rope forums (a message board for music biz pros) looking for word of Prince shopping around an album to the labels, but I haven't come across anything. I did however come across a mention that Prince has supposedly hired former Sony exec Michele Anthony as his new manager. Of course, a download of some sort such as "Guitar" is always a possibility.

When have you ever known Prince to do the same thing twice?

If some record label had Prince's new album in the works, they would be crowing about it and getting maximum exposure for it and themselves. But since it is quiet on that front, I can only think Prince hasn't even sorted out a new record deal yet to deliver an album. It could all happen pretty fast but... I don't see it right now.

since that is a Wednesday, and not a MONDAY, nope.

I sorta hope P has himself cryogenically frozen and releases his next CD in the year 3121.
