The cd single version is shorter than the version that was a part of the Chocolate Invasion/Slaugter House downloads.

Gold feels very gospel to me... because it reached in me somewhere special in my heart... the feeling was unbelievable.

and it made me cry. The first time Prince has ever made me done so.
