in no particular order

COME ON-this song is too funky!

THE WAR-one two-for those of us who love our p real underground!

THE HIPPODROME AFTERSHOW-yeah i was there!

COME ON-E.P-loving this e.p like miles loved jazz

THE TONIGHT SHOW APPEANCES-esp cool to say ol jay leno clappin along with ol p!

and as a bonus-the channel four 'prince night'-basicly beautiful strange-fantastic concert(ok apart from mad etc)that version of prince and chaka doing SWEET THING is still my fave version.

i think that album and that little era/phase/whatever is vastly underrated...though to the credit of the haters, when the music/performances were rotten, they were REALLY rotten. but the good stuff was REALLY good, too.

The Sinbad show performace was intense.

Mad Sex, Come On, The One, Wasted Kisses... are top notch cuts.

the night after Cafe de Paris (in London, for all you knob-heads!) at Brixton was awesome. And still banging out plenty of the old stuff, my most memorable purple rain performance ,live, actually.
His hair was a bit shocking when he walked out, but was a cool night.
I aint got any issues with this era. just another experimental phase, i guess.

An era like that would have been impossible under the strict dictatorship ( or quality control confused ) of Warner Bros.
Also gotta give Prince credit for handling one of the most turbulent phases in his life quite elegantly like only he can, instead of boozing and losing control or getting fat and bloated or drug dependent like most other musicians in the biz when they were in similar situations. People often forget about that and take his perfectionism for granted...the man was still there, doing his thing...

Most remarkable moments...COME ON on Jay Leno..the remix was killer, especially live.

The COME ON EP....probably the last great maxi with different versions.

THE ONE...WASTED KISSES....great songs.

New Power Soul ...the album...( I can´t listen to Push It Up and I Like Funky Music but other than that, it was quite interesting for a side project...were this just a bootleg, people would go nuts over it)

THE WAR... wow !!!!

Only bad points were 1999-TNM and the Larry-isms during that era...I respect Larry and his contributions to Funk music and his influence and relevance, but hey, he was becoming to much of a main act in those days...but that´s been discussed enough already.

All in all, an interesting era.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I went that night right up the front in danger of getting crushed onto one of those baracades, im sure he came out in that Rave blue suit and the hair too and it was w/chaka and they did i feel for you/Let work

My favourite Prince concert was the one at Brixton. Loved the energy of it all. Especially loved when Chaka started I Feel For You and this deep voice came over the PA, "Hey girl, that's my song". Prince strutted out, the place went wild, they dueted the song and Prince strolled off. Awesome!

Never have liked Come On.

Never minded 1999 the new master. Never really understood why it got all the hate.
RIP sad

I'm not so mad about the Come On maxi single, but other than that I'm in agreement with the list (I was at the Hippodrome too dancing jig )

I'll swap the Come On maxi single for 'Mad Sex' please. yay!

I have recently watched the 1998 Vibe appearance, parts of it anyway, and say what you want about the band back then, Let's Work/Delirious kicked MUCH ass!
