Prince of Paisley Park,unedited Hello,
I was happy and fortunate enough to catch and tape the Prince Of Paisley Park story onVH1 Classic this past Monday.I believe someone said recently that the one hour program was originally two hours with more unseen concert footage.Can someone share some light on this,please!I would love to see that! | |

I think it was maybe up to 5 mins deleted. I think it was coverage of his dirty mind tour |

This is the US version of Omnibus documentary. It was broadcast in 92 (I believe) and has extra footage (about 1.5 minutes) of interviews with Alan Leeds and Benny Medina (Senior VP of Black Music Division, WB).
Unfortunately they also edited it - they removed most of the private footage of Head from 81 and quite a big section of footage from the Lovesexy rehearsals, making this actually 3 minutes shorter than the original. It's still great but that 4 minutes or so of missing footage means the original is still the best.
