It would be interesting if Prince named an album 'Revolution'. It would be interesting to hear its contents. The name is associated with him and his band so readily that to give an album this moniker would be extremely controversial. .. or hint at its greatness.... or lameness.... or, oh, I don't know.

Corrected the date: if you look at the original picture in hq, you will see that it is written "March 07", and as a friend suggested, probably they mean March 2007.

can we speculate on a fake tracklist yet?

the dj's were talking about the superbowl for a minute and then one of the dj's
stated that he has it "on very good word" that the new Prince album which is coming in March was going to be "revolutionary"....let's hope for the best!

The title just seems too unlikely. It would be like Mick Jagger releasing a solo album titled "Rolling Stone". Plus there's nothing in that email that we didn't already know and the wording just seems a little unprofessional.

Of course, I've been wrong before...

On the other hand, it would be silly for Prince not to have a record out around his Superbowl performance and maybe some of the Grammies etc. that he might win. He will have to capitalize on the media coverage as soon as possible, not Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic -as soon as possible.

2007 is definitely turning out to be a good year for Prince and a great year for his fans and as of this minute...we haven't even got into February yet! We still have 11 months to go!

I swear the following is true...I've started a Prince fund at my bank. There will be weekly deductions taken from my other accounts to fund this one...I will not be missing shit!!! So bring it on...bring it on...whatever it is!!!!

Hey I am happy there is a new album He can call it anything he wants.

I don't see P naming the album Revolution. P's soooo been there, done that. P's not into the past and he knows that calling it that takes folks back to a specific period. I don't see him ever reforming any form of the Revolution as his band. A new album, sure. Probably has been in the can for months now. But not that title.
