jt's impersonation of prince just aired on the west coast. the only reason he looked "nervous" was because prince was supposed to be there -- and apparently the director of the show was also expecting prince to come up to accept. finally they just gave up on waiting for prince and justin had to improvise.

Prince looked so handsome! It was exciting to see him..at first I guess he just wasn't going to be there then I saw him in the audience and I was surprised. I even think I saw him take a sip of champagne. He looked great as usual and I'm happy for him that he got recognized. Prince is awesome!!!  He really has the air of a prince..there really is something enchanting about him. | |

he came late... which is not unusual. there is traffic. at least he showed up and stood up when he was called upon.
yea there was a long pause waiting for him- but honestly- it was like the second award of the night. don't they usually give best song awards in the middle of a ceremony? it was too soon into the beginning of the ceremony. i really enjoyed America Ferrara's (spelling?) speech, Forest Whittaker, and the guy who accepted the award for Babel- he said "Emotion needs no translation.", which i totally agree with. all in all, great show- can't wait for the Grammys and Oscars.
