2007 marks Prince's 30 years in the entertainment world

After 30 years in the music/entertainment business (as of 2007), Prince's career has gone full circle. I looks like 2007 will be no exception in terms of Prince being quite busy.

What would you guys/gals want as a 30 year PRESENT from Prince?

Oh just 3 things:

A slammin' new album.

1 of his Guitars.

A personal invitation 2 see Paisley Park.

That's all.

i don't WANT for anything, but i would like to see him doing what he does, happily, being himself, with the odd surprise thrown in for good measure. would be great to have a three hour documentry (official) about the story so far, and behind the scenes during the tours etc. see what he does from day to day, that kind of stuff. yeah, it is kinda wanting, i guess. smile

Whatever floats his boat or finds his lost remote!

He's given me more than enough happiness over the last 30 years so 2007 should be about whatever the hell HE wants!

I'm just grateful to still be going along for the ride! cool

Ok, you're talking about a miracle...but I do like the idea of giving him a present...but realistically...what could we as fans give to the man that's given us so much?

since prince doesn't really mark time anymore (unless it's new year's eve and he has a residency in las vegas), i wouldn't expect a thing from him (unless he dreamed up something really cool for me to buy).

I've enjoyed most of Prince's music, so that's been "a present" from him, IMO.

My "present" to him...my continued admiration for his talent and monetary support, especially his concerts. This is a win-win situation.

Oh yeah...like Handclapsfingasnapz (@)-}-----) mentioned...another 30 years. eye pray

Ok you asked for it:

I would like to say "Thank You" to Prince for making "2006" a wonderful Princely year of bringing us so many shows in 2006, and the opening of the 3121 Club in Las Vegas... and just thanks for giving us more than 30 years of fantastic music. May the new year 2007 bless him with all the good things life has to offer and that he remains spiritually strong and healthy.

...by the way..here's a few things I would love to see happen in the near future if at all possible.

For Prince to consider opening up a 3121 Club and Jazz Cuisine in Atlantic City, NJ for the East Coasters, once he's finished with the Rio contract of course, doesn't have to be this year or next year, but sometime in the near future.

Open a 3121 Jazz Cuisine Restaurant in NYC - because we love food and live music and love to spend money.

Open a 3121 Chocolate Candy shop with exclusive chocolates, just like Godiva Chocolates have their own store here. He can market it online as well on his site.

Oh yes, a US tour would be nice too, but get some rest first!

To be honest, I'd like to see him take a well deserved BREAK. I can't wait to see him tour, but afterwards, I would love to see him take some time to just relax and devote to his personal life. He also has many other talents, so it would be cool to see him utilize those.

He needs to learn the Golden Rule himself before he starts asking it of others.

U all know I was just kidding, right?

He doesn't owe us anything, and time is relative.

I kind of like Handclapsfingasnapz's line: "sticking around for another 30 years would work fine for me."

Anyway... I can't wait 2 hear the new album...
