God Forbid if Prince passed away-Who gets his stuff?

I know he has to have completed a will but with his splintered family, no wife or kids, who would inherit his possessions? His brother Duane? His sister Tyka, who admits she has drug and alcohol problems, ? Larry Graham? I bet Larry Graham would be a large chunk.

Morris Day? Would he give it to his ex wives? Would he ask for something weird to be done with his money? Maybe he'd give it all to a charity.

By the way, I saw Jay Z on Nightline and he said he's worth $300 million.

Prince has been in the game much longer than Jay Z, he has to at least be close to that much/

Oh come on. Like it or not, we fans know Prince only as a product and not as a person. Yeah, it might be a bit grim to discuss the fact that he will die (we all do), but as a fans I think it is a valid question of what will happen to his musical legacy. Who is in charge of it when he is gone? So quit with all the "jinx" talk and cartoon faces of distain. Everybody dies- including Prince (I think).

I agree with Skywalker. It's definitely an interesting question; especially now that he'll be getting divorced again.

I'm really not trying to jinx Prince, I love the guy, but that is something that is a reality. He may outlive everybody, but with the type of wealth and legacy he'll leave, it would be a shame if it got into the wrong hands, but I'm sure he has his business taken care of.

I think it's a valid question seeing as Prince's bloodline is somewhat limited right now. His parents have passed away, he is again single with no children approaching his 50's, and we're only left with his siblings whom we don't hear much about...

P needs to have some lil funk babies asap...we need someone to look lovingly after the vault!

He'll probably have it destroyed, I'll bet it's in his will. He's not known for sharing or generousity when it comes down to his work. When he moved out of his purple house, he had it torn down so that his family wouldn't live in it.

The way I look at it Hendrix only had 4 studio albums and is still on top to this day. Prince has a catalog a 1000 times the size of Hendrix. Imagine all the songs and videos we've never seen. Since 1979 Prince has filmed every concert he's performed.
So who ever Prince has in mind to carry on his music....better know what they're doing!!

I always wonder what P is worth because you never hear about it. I also wondered who will be in charge of his trust. 2Pac had his mom to carry on his legancy but who will keep the Prince stuff coming?
