>"look at the bargains over here, ladies"

Who's saying it? Sounds like Robin Williams...

Isn't that a sample from the Moscow on the Hudson movie? Starring Robin
Williams?

Prince owned one sound effects record apparently, because the Baby yelp from
the end of delirious, the rain and horns honking from lady cab driver, soldiers
marching from free, the organ and "look at the bargains over here ladies" from
IEWUG, and yes, the fireworks/baseball game sound effects from Pop Life are all
from the same damn sound effects RECORD. If you listen to Free especially you
can hear the RECORD crackling--the surface noise from it. If I remember
correctly, its one of those Elektra sound effects records, either the one with
the blue dot or the one with the red dot. if someone really wants to go out
and buy all the elektra sound effects CD's be my guest.

google. alt.music.prince

I know myself that all the 1999 sound effects and the "pop life" sound effects are from a sound effects collection for producers/sound designers. I've heard the crowd noise in Pop Life in a horror movie including the "throw the bum out". It was called "Wait Until Dark" with Martin Landau.
