Seems I remember Howard Hewitt trying to talk to her too when they did that "Heart Don't Lie" song together. She seemed afraid of him, too. Howard said she was "really sheltered." She seemed "easiy-scared" but then ends up with that Jack Gordon. Go figure.... At least Prince wouldn't have wanted her in Playboy! Sure, she might have been on stage singing in her panties, but hey...that's a different story! Anyway, I recall her mentioning the story in more than one publication, and the second time I read it I felt a little embarrassed for her. C'mon, now, let's be gracious...

She wrote about how he was really coming on to her, saying how he had a ton of pictures of her and how much he loves her, how beautiful she was, ect. She was REALLY sheltered and didn't understand (or so she said) that he was hitting on her and thought that was just how people talked to one another...so she was all.."Oh that's nice.
