Miracle Radio Moment..."Sunday In The Park" in the Mix. Syracuse Represents. OK.
So I'm Listening 2 106.9 outta Syracuse, NY... I do this inbetween sessions in my home studio. This is what they played, in order, full versions, and with NO commercials: "I wanna Be Your Lover" PRINCE "Sunday In The Park" TAMAR "There's Hope" INDIA AIRE "Get It Up" THE TIME (prince) "Inside My Love" MINNIE RIPPERTON "Shine" LUTHER VANDROSS U all should know how all of rest of the songs get U, but "Sunday In The Park", in it's full version, is incredible. I have only points 2 make:
1: "Sunday In The Park" is a great track... Prince perfection, and down 2 earth, with intricate instrumentation and arranging. 2: What a curious playlist... not "normal". 2 much taste, and 2 have "Get It Up" in there 2... Did Prince write this playlist? (non-official #3) The other songs within this mix were unusually tasteful, considering the (normally) mainstream programming in Urban Contemporary R&B this station stays mired up in usually... It's been streaming on her myspace page for a while now. I think it's still up... I agree that it's a stella track. Makes me dissapointed that the album was cancelled.
