Manuela Files For Divorce - Part III *POST HERE ONLY* Well, well done peeps. Not bad going at all
2nd thread on the D-I-V-O-R-C-E subject (that IS what we're supposed to be discussing here...isn't it?) we're having to lock up and start afresh. So, 3rd time lucky maybe? Sharpen up - those that are stirring up stuff that has no business here know who you are - and WE know who you are too. We're watching. So, as per the mod alerts on the previous 2 threads - it really can't be made any simpler: ATTENTION!!! Yes I do mean all of you!! After the mud flinging, trolling, religion, etc. previous threads turned into complete free-4-alls, and as such had to be FINAL WARNING: If the same uncivil crap starts up again, this one will not only get but repeat offenders will be looking at temp-bans. Maybe this will afford those with hot heads a period to cool off and view from afar instead of contributing. Because like the old saying goes: "If you ain't got nuthin' nice to say - then don't say it at all" So let's really try and keep this thread civil - and we mean it! If you want to discuss matters regarding ANY political or religious issuess, then post only in the Politics and Religion Forum. The dusty remnants of THREAD ONE can be found HERE The discarded carcass of THREAD II can be found HERE People Magazine link Prince, Wife Are Divorcing WEDNESDAY JULY 26, 2006 07:20PM EST Testolini Nelson and Prince Photo by: George Pimentel / WireImage Prince and wife Manuela Testolini Nelson are divorcing, PEOPLE has learned. Alan Eidsness, the lawyer representing Prince, confirms that a divorce action was filed at Minnesota's Hennepin County District Court on May 24. The documents are sealed. Prince (full name: Prince Rogers Nelson), 48, and Testolini Nelson, 29, a former employee at Prince's charitable foundation, were married in 2001. She took her husband's last name. Testolini Nelson, a Toronto native, is the founder and president of Gamillah, Inc., which operates, among other ventures, a production company and a line of designer candles. She is also involved with nonprofits including YouthCARE and United Communities Against Poverty. Prince, who is working on a follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2006 album 3121, was previously married to backup singer and dancer Mayte Garcia from 1996 through 1998, when their union was annulled. Representativess for Testolini Nelson had no comment; Prince could not be reached.

All that is really left to say is that we wish Prince the best and he should know his fans love him unconditionally.

This morning after airing "Satisfied", a DJ was discussing the fact that Prince was going through a divorce. He mentioned that there seems to be a number of "stars" calling it quits on their marriages -- like Babyface and Eddie Murphy. He mentioned that the good thing about Prince's situation was the fact that he and Manuela had no children who would be hurt in this situation because for kids divorce is the worst.
On another note, he thought stars like Prince should take some advice from the most unlikely couple who's managed to keep their marriage together for a long time: Bobby and Whitney! Now that something to think about.

A much better example of a couple who's got it together would have been Ashford and Simpson.

Interesting it was leaked just before the tour kickoff (or at least tour announcement!) predicted by Graycap. Mind you, I'm skeptical of Gray's exact claims, but it's possible SOMEthing was supposed to drop, and the "leak" was an effort to undermine Prince? Kinda like that info about the lawsuit over P's rental home, hitting the news the day before 3121 was released... http://www.thesmokinggun....ince1.html Also interesting the divorce was filed just a few days (May 24) before the Vegas gigs... "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

Wow...so im reading up on the "new" thread and just realized that Victoria Williams "Let It Be So" w/ Wendy & Lisa backing her is playing on girlbros radio.
For those of you who dont know the song here are the lyrics: let it be so what a beautiful day to say forever oh let it be so from here a path to take you both through any weather oh let it be so happy we are all here to be together to share the love that you found the trials of the past they can only make us better and put our feet on solid ground oh let it be so oh let it be so rejoice in this moment and many hereafter sweet and holy be the sounds of your laughter oh let it be so oh let it be so before god's eyes we recognize each other and you were chosen may the simple trials of everyday be treasured oh let it be so oh let it be so Space for sale...
