graffitti bridge and lovesexy These 2 albums were similiar how they both related to God .
Now most people say the movie sucked becuase of the album what if Lovesexy was used instead of Graffiti bridge would it have been a better movie? I think so "I know" would be the beginning song instead of NPG Only Joy in repitition, the ? of U, and thieves in the temple would stay the rest would b b-sides. hav u had ur + sign 2 day.

I think most people say the movie sucked, because it did suck.
The whole thing was just a mish-mash of previously left-over and abandoned ideas and projects all grafted uncomfortably onto the original concept for the Graffiti Bridge album/movie. If you've read the original script, it always seems very Lovesexy-esque in my minds eye, kind of dream-like, like the Lovesexy tour set. | |

I honestly love both albums, GB may take a lot of crap but in all honesty I think it's better than 'Parade.' It's much more funkier and I find myself playing it on heavy rotation when I get the chance. Then again, the downside is that the best track off of the album is a 'Time' track (Shake!)...In regards to LS, it may not be as complete and different as say its predecessor SOTT, but it's a very relaxing album and you don't necessarily have to see it for it's spiritual view...The best track 'When 2 R in Love.' Prince really has his voice in perfection on LS... | |

A Black Album/Lovesexy movie would've ruled! By the way, GB was meant to be the follow up to Lovesexy but Prince was offered the Batman project in '88.Now most people say the movie sucked becuase of the album what if Lovesexy was used instead of Graffiti bridge would it have been a better movie? People didn't think the movie sucked because of the album. The album was like more then the movie because Prince didn't accomplish the idealisim at hand. Rather he rode the rail between realitiy and spirituality, and this made the film mucky. Lovesexy couldn't have better been the album because Lovesexy was much more the spiritual albume. Would Prince make a movie with only dashing lights rather then inbodied actors? I know would make a much more powerful song. I like what you are saying. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop. | |

The Music in Graffiti Bridge had nothing to do with whether the movie sucked or not. If you replaced it with the music in LoveSexy, it wouldn't have helped. The movie just plain sucked.
You could add the music of Mozart Don Giovani to Vanilla Ice's "Cool As Ice", and the movie will still be a steaming pile.  | |
