Best Bootlegs What is the Best Prince Bootleg you have ever heard?

As a matter of fact. There used to be a lot of Bootlegs ( Non-Official Label Music) sold direct inside of Arenas where Prince Concerts were held. Especially back in the 1980's and 90's alot of stuff was sold during his concerts. Does anybody remember this or am I just imagining this?
Question: Who was selling this stuff? Do you think Prince didn't know they were being sold at official booths during his concerts? Prince is probably the biggest bootlegged Artist of all time. Don't you think that bootlegging can help an artist's career. Prince could turn around and sell official copies of most of his own bootlegged stuff and he could make millions anytime he wanted to. I think bootlegging has kept Prince's career hot for almost 30 years even though his record sales didn't always show it. He is the Greatest perform, writer, producer of all time. | |

THE BEST BOOTLEGS I HAVE GOTTEN WERE OF HIM IN MOLINE, ILLINOIS ON THE JAM OF THE YEAR TOUR - HIS AFTERSHOW AT THE EXCALIBUR IN CHICAGO (SAME TOUR) - THE DIAMONDS & PEARLS CD FROM EUROPE!!! AND, MY ALL TIME FAV BOOT IS THE 4 CD SET I GOT FROM GLAM SLAM PARTY!!!! GOLD EXPERIENCE ERA!!!

I have a couple shows from the Diamonds & Pearls tour
that I really love. I mean, c'mon! He opens the show with Thunder! It doesn't get much better

They issued cds in volumes called 'The Works' Volume 1 and 2 etc.Each volume is in a 4 cd set. The sound quality ranges from good to excellent and the majority of his most sought after unreleased tracks are on them. | |

As far as live stuff goes Vega 2002, Small Club and Purple Finale are my favorites if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron
