Its a little hard to take in and actually understand what you are saying here -How can you say he is weird when you seemed to like him in the 80's?? you couldnt get more fantastically weird than he was then? And how on earth can you call him a lounge act when he's constantly accepting awards - performing on stage in front of millions - dueting with stars past and present - people asking to perform his music - stars of today watching and admiring him from the crowds - need I say more?? In my opinion - for a man to be around as long as he has and to still have the fanbase and talent to keep on going - influencing musicians all around the world - I hear his past and present styles in alot of music out today!! I know that his light isnt shining as brightly as it was - but why should it?? hes done a hell of alot for music - and helped alot of people on their way - he can afford to sit back - do what the hell he wants (although some of his styles have even made me want to cringe!!!) but you cant please everyone all the time and thats fine by me.. All I want to say to you is never mind about Prince retiring from music - maybe you should just delete your account from the Org - retire yourself from listening him - he obviously doesnt do it for you anymore - and this site wont have much to offer you either - IMO
