O.T. Chistina Milian only sold 141,000 ? No wonder Def Jam dropped her...
The first single they released was their fault though.... "Say I" is pretty lame.

No actually Def Jam wanted her to do that Rihanna song SOS and she declined it so when it became a big hit for Rihanna they dropped her

no, the beatles aren't on iTunes because they are remastering their music and are waiting until it's all done to put it on itunes.

"We're remastering the whole Beatles catalog, just to make it sound brighter and better and getting proper booklets to go with each of the packages. I think it would be wrong to offer downloads of the old masters when I am making new masters. It would be better to wait and try to do them both simultaneously so that you then get the publicity of the new masters and the downloading, rather than just doing it ad hoc."

Prince isn't on itunes either because he's gotten bad advice from someone. If he puts all of the material he owns the rights to on iTunes, he get 67% of all sales and doesn't have to pay any staff other than someone to master the material. This has to be a better return than he got from the NPGMC. There was a time in his life when Prince would have been the first to embrace iTunes.

btw: when people upgrade their computers, how do the get the keys updated to all of the music they bought these last couple of years if NPGMC is gone?

Actually, as far as I have heard, The Beatles are not on ITunes because they do not want to be restricted to the .99 cents per song that ITunes insists on. As far as I know, there has been no official statement that The Beatles albums are being remastered. Yes, they remastered the Capital Albums Box Sets, but not the original 12 Beatles Albums (With The Beatles, Please Please Me, A Hard Days Night, Help, For Sale, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, White Album, Abbey Road and Let It Be) Nor have they remastered Past Masters Vol 1 and 2.

I had no idea Teena Marie even had an album out! eek
Holy poor promotion

Also, its a shame about Christina Milian and the O-town kid (Aslhey Angel)
cause you can tell they were promoting themselves really hard.
but hey, neither can sing so well. so who cares?!
If you will, so will I
