GLAM SLAM BOOGIE

I have alway been confused by this title since I've never heard him perform it in concert. Does the song in concert consist of just Glam Slam or were there other songs added into Glam Slam Boogie? Was there also similar instrumentation in the live set like the guitar and keyboard solos as found on the studio cut? Would love to know.

Glam Slam Boogie is a whole different song.It has nothing in common with Glam Slam,it's a one chord boogie jam, a kind of fast version of The Ride, which was played mostly in the 94/95 era.Amongst others, there are good versions of it on the 1995 Amsterdam and London aftershows. One of the London Aftershows even features George Benson jamming on that song, as well as 2 songs with Chaka Kahn.It was at the Astoria, 03/08/1995.After that show, George Benson has offered his Ibanez signature guitar to Prince, which is signed at the back.Prince still plays this guitar, he was playing it less than 2 weeks ago at the GMA Tv show.U can also watch Prince playing an amazing version of that song in rehearsals in a bootleg DVD called "Boogie 2nite".
