Does anyone know the story behind this song? When was this recorded? It's PERFECT!

I believe It was recorded in the For You sessions, and yes it is PERFECT!

it was recorded so prince could let warner brothers know that they did a good thing in putting their faith in him (when he signed his deal) and that they were going to make history together . funky ass tune !!!
