How do you now she would go into debt by going to the concert in Vegas?

Only someone without money would call someone a cheapskate for not wanting to spend $300 for a concert. It doesn't matter she will soon post about how she isn't going into debt but I won't believe her because typically people who have money understand the value of money.

lol yeah, no shit. I don't get why people get so indignant if they can't afford something. There are lots of things I wish I could do but can't afford.
Crap, Madonna's most expensive tickets here are $300 and that's in a huge arena! So, since I didn't even want to pay $85 for nose-bleed seats, I'm not going. I don't like her NEAR as much as P, but I'm not going to be hating on her for doing her thing.

Well!

It appears that the current yardstick measuring what constitutes a "true fan" or a "bigger fan" will be who's going to fly to Vegas and pay out the $312.01, instead of the regular bickering about who is only a poseur Purple Rain (or Musicology) fan or who has amassed the most bootlegs or been to the most shows.

lol

Or suing fansites or asking for boots to be sent to Ohio. Everytime somrthing goes down, folx start acting like Prince bent them over and did them dry.

Gotdamn. It's been almost thirty years. Why, oh why do people get suprised whatever this cat does?

That's it, I've had it with Prince. He's out of his mind!! Only a fool would actually shell out that much for a has-been artist who seems to have no regard for his fanbase anyway...is he that desperate for money?? And that gimmick of using the numbers 3121 is getting old. I bet he's the laughing stock once people get hold of this.

Oh, come on now.. rolleyes...First of all, Prince's last concert had tickets from like $40-$70, so it's obvious he DOES have a regard for his fan base, or else the Musicology tour would have been $200 bucks a ticket. Secondly, This isn't the kick-off show of an arena tour...it's a "one-time" thing, I get the impression. When (if) there is a full-fledge 3121 tour, don't expect the tickets to be $300 dollars...lol...they'll be back around $70 as usual.

I'm a few hours drive away, and have the money... hmmm...tempting.

Thank you.

Madonna charges her fans $300+ for arena concerts that seat 20,000+ people.

Prince charges $312.01 for a one-off event in an intimate club and he gets called everything but the child of God by his so-called fans. disbelief

To be fair, I don't think that is necessarily the case. Some richer people are the cheapest motherfuckers on the planet. lol

Seriously, it's not a mtter of money to some. I can afford it and it's still a lot of money to me.

you may not want to kick his ass. I know it's just me dreamin' but when they asked that question about favorite unreleased songs, I thought they were doing that for a reason. I just feel like those nights are gonna be very special and I want to be able to say I was there. That is priceless to me. and fuck it, I deserve to splurge on myself as I support two households.

A VIP price for general admission?

I guess this round is for the Hollywood ...maybe the soaring price is a filter for only a certain crowd???.....presumptive and guessing I know, just wondering why it so ridiculously expensive.

The Club must have priced the tickets. In Vegas, you really don't have much control of that. Vegas has a history of high ticket prices. Celine Dion and Elton John cost about that much, and they suck.

I'm sure they will let in less then 1200, and let's not forget that many celebrities will be there, and they can pay any price for a show. I also think it may be a way for the club to get a classy clientele. Vegas has this really shitty attitute about the haves and have-nots. The club scene there is really elite and crazy.

If I was a rich fan, I would still stay home. This guy needs to be a better person, not just preach about it.

Yeah, it's alot of money to me too, but I'd pay for the experience if I could go. I spend that much over 3-4 weekend nights of partying and I'll guarantee, seeing Prince in this club would be a lot more memorable!

My statement was directed more to the 'has-been', 'who does he think he is', type of response.

I agree with this, and I think it should apply to everyone who calls someone else an idiot or stupid or a fool or any other name for choosing to go, OR for choosing to NOT go because they consider the ticket price too high.
