yeah, no shit. I don't get why people get so indignant if they can't afford something. There are lots of things I wish I could do but can't afford.
Crap, Madonna's most expensive tickets here are $300 and that's in a huge arena! So, since I didn't even want to pay $85 for nose-bleed seats, I'm not going. I don't like her NEAR as much as P, but I'm not going to be hating on her for doing her thing. | |

Well!
It appears that the current yardstick measuring what constitutes a "true fan" or a "bigger fan" will be who's going to fly to Vegas and pay out the $312.01, instead of the regular bickering about who is only a poseur Purple Rain (or Musicology) fan or who has amassed the most bootlegs or been to the most shows. | |

Oh, come on now..  ...First of all, Prince's last concert had tickets from like $40-$70, so it's obvious he DOES have a regard for his fan base, or else the Musicology tour would have been $200 bucks a ticket. Secondly, This isn't the kick-off show of an arena tour...it's a "one-time" thing, I get the impression. When (if) there is a full-fledge 3121 tour, don't expect the tickets to be $300 dollars...lol...they'll be back around $70 as usual.
I'm a few hours drive away, and have the money...  ...tempting.Thank you. Madonna charges her fans $300+ for arena concerts that seat 20,000+ people. Prince charges $312.01 for a one-off event in an intimate club and he gets called everything but the child of God by his so-called fans.  | |

It is a lot of money, but like i said its not like you go see Prince in Vegas everyday or something, every once in a great while its nice to splurge, like i said, i havent been to Vegas in a heck of a long time and my babe has been bugging me to go, so now i have a great reason to go, I mean, like we go to vegas to blow some money anyways right! | |

The Club must have priced the tickets. In Vegas, you really don't have much control of that. Vegas has a history of high ticket prices. Celine Dion and Elton John cost about that much, and they suck.
I'm sure they will let in less then 1200, and let's not forget that many celebrities will be there, and they can pay any price for a show. I also think it may be a way for the club to get a classy clientele. Vegas has this really shitty attitute about the haves and have-nots. The club scene there is really elite and crazy. If I was a rich fan, I would still stay home. This guy needs to be a better person, not just preach about it. All you others say Hell Yea!!  | |
