Caught some blonde comedienne on Conan (mighta been a repeat) glorifying Prince. Comedienne gushed how the little purple angel popped up behind her and said "Hello". She said she was too flabbergasted to say anything but "What are your plans for the summer? Tour?"

Conan dropped that P was backstage at a Tiger Woods benefit and Stevie was performing and how he was amazed at Prince dancing "so cool" to Stevie's jamming.

yeah, it was Amy Poehler. she is now a cast member on SNL, but got her start as a member of The Upright Citizens Brigade.

i love her. she is gorgeous and one of the funniest people alive. i just caught the 2nd part of the Conan interview with her last night when Prince's name came up the 2nd time. she said that she wanted to marry him.

thanks for posting this. was hoping that someone caught the beginning of their interview, because i had missed what they said about Prince in the beginning. how did his name come up?

I don't remember. I was just waking up to go to work. She was all a-giggle about it. I imagine the context was Prince's appearance on SNL, but I'm not sure. She mighta have referenced 3121, but I thought it was a repeat.

yeah I think she mentioned 3121 cuz she said "It's his best yet!" and everybody applauded.

her and Conan are great together. she used to work for his show way back in the day. she would play Andy Richtor's kid sister in skits.

He asked her about working on SNL and she mentioned that she weas so excited to have Prince on the show as she is a big fan. She then told a little story about how her and her friend (another fan) were watching the rehersals and all of a sudden, Prince showed up right next to her and said "Hello". She was all dumbfounded and talked gibberish. Pretty much a similar story to what Armistan said on the NPGMC.

Conan then told a story about being at the Tiger Woods benefit where Stevie Wonder played. He said Prince was standing right next to him dancing all cool.

Later, it was mentioned that Pohler was going to the High Times awards in Amsterdam next year and taking Prince and Conan with her.

Then she showed her beaver.

prince WAS at the tiger woods benefit concert and he surprised everyone when he came out to play his guitar for a while but then stevie said something and prince left...??? i was lucky enuff to have been there but i was confused as to why he left & i didn't hear what stevie said which i think had something to do with it...i still don't know...but i wish he had stayed... it was amazing to see those two geniuses share the stage, especially since nobody expected it...it was a nice surprise...
