It keeps changing..I used to think it was 1999, then SOTT...then...then...
3121 has caused me to listen more closely to musicology, and the past few cds..the Gold Experience, Crystal ball, the symbol cd, etc..etc....theres alot of good music on all of them Too hard to pick right now

That is such a tough question to answer. Favorite is different from "What do you think is his best album?"

At the moment, my favorite is 3121. I listen to it all the time.

Sometimes, usually, it is "Purple Rain".

But my personal favorite might be "Graffiti Bridge", simply because it came out during the most magical summer of my life.

definately without a doubt Sign O The Times. That and Purple Rain. I can't really decide. SOTT is one of the greatest masterpieces every created. 1999, Lovesexy, prince and 3121 are awesome albums as well.

I commend you on your courage to include 3121.

It's easy to praise time-tested classics. Takes nerve to say a brand new record is your new favorite.

Sign O The Times will always stand as my favorite Prince album, with 1999 being my second favorite, Purple Rain being my third, Dirty Mind being my fourth, and finally Parade being my fifth. O+> and The Rainbow Children gets my recommendation too!

1) The Gold Experience
2) The Truth
3) Batman Soundtrack (formative years, man!)
4) Musicology (the music is amazing...great robust songs)
5) The Love Symbol Album
6) Purple Rain
7) Crystal Ball (some songs are duds. Some are fantastic. 18 & Over!)
8) Graffiti Bridge (see number 2)
9) Emancipation
10) Diamonds & Pearls

Choosing just 10 was tough biggrin
I wanna be loved to the 9s, so let me cover your ass with this sheet, and baby, you better stay on the beat! Cause you know the Karma Sutra? I can rewrite it. But, with half as many words.
