crystal ball question

there are a few references in the booklet which accompany the commercial CB set
which I have a question about..

On What's my name, it refers to "after the increasing amount of lollipops using the name Prince-the original came hard with this one..."..who are the lollipops the writer is referring to..?

Dream Factory.."written 4 a turncoat, who after a quick brush with success, lost themselves in a haze of wine, women and pills...or so the fiction goes..this person is not Prince.."...who is this song about..?

thanks for the help

There were quite a lot of people who went by the Prince moniker in their stage names ...Prince Ital Joe ( that dude who did Life In The Streets w/ Marky Mark (Wahlberg)), then BG the Prince Of Rap, then there was Prince Charles from Boston....but that was in the early 80´s...anyway, there were quite many people in the biz who used "Prince" as their stagename to some extent.

And as far as I know, NoveauDance is right, Dream Factory is about St.Paul, who once got called "St.Paul, punk of the month" during a liveshow.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
