synths on 1999 - Lovesexy - Fury: a question

I know, they do not sound exactly the same, but the synth lines of 1999, Lovesexy and 3121 remind me a lot of eachother.

I was just wondering: when Prince was writing and producing Lovesexy and Fury do you think it was a purposed decision to use that kind of synth line / sound, in a way of reminding 'us' of 1999? or, is he just very fond of that sound? or, he is just too lazy to try a new sound or line? lol

I somehow have the feel Fury is 'also' sounding catchy too me and i cant get the synth line out of my head, because i heard 1999 a trillion times before

what are you thoughts on this?

According to Prince:

He first writes the lyrics, with a general music Key and Note, then when he writes the music, he "lets the music write itself"

This would mean, he makes the music as to what it is speaking to him and what is in his mind at the time.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

No, your not a bad person at heart, thus you percieved my simple post to be non-negitive. If read from my perspective, none of my posts would be "negitive". Because I use complex statements without simple words, many lesserminded people can only "choose" to percieve my statements, that are beyond their understanding, as generally "negitive".

Congratulations! I admire your hability to insult people without using direct words. Also I treasure the fact you consider yourself superior to others because of the language you use.

Shame this isn't the real world! wink
