According to Billy sloan, Prince has been checking out uk venues and apparently Hampden looks like a strong favourite for Prince to play on tour, Sloan usually has his ear to the ground most of the time so lets hope its true

this is true. the 2006 world tour is a semi-revolution renunion. they're biling it at 'old freinds' as the line-up will change throught the tour.

uk venues are looking at a mixture of big open air / small intimate.

Billy Sloan does a show on Clyde 1 on a Sunday night.
I have even heard him play Illusion Coma Pimp and Circumstance before.
Its clear he does like Prince, his review of Edinburgh 93 was really good.

Don't you think Hampden is a bit big. When I saw him at SECC there were empty seats. I would love to think he could fill it - but that also means more competition for a possible aftershow

I dont think prince could sell out hampden park now.maybe when he played parkhead or even meadowbank then he would have sold out hampden but not now.

play the hits and had someone like Chaka Khan and Alicia Keys supporting.

Hampden is for football. Stadium gigs are a rip off, I hope he comes but not Hampden. Still I'll end up going.
