Prince didn't do the SNL promo and was referenced on Everybody Hates Chris I just saw one of the SNL promos and Prince wasn't in it (usually the host and the band show up on Thursday night) but it was just Steve Martin. He did say to tune in to see which one would be wearing the buttless jeans. I had a feeling Prince wouldn't do the promos as he likes to think he above such things.
Also, on Everybody Hates Chris he had his clothes stolen before picture day and his friend says "You can't take your picture in your underwear" and Chris Rock said, "Apparantly nobody ever told Prince that". [Edited 2/2/06 18:24pm] | |

Yes, from memory Paul Schaffer introduced Prince to Letterman saying something like "the artist formerly known as Prince, meet the artist currently known as pinhead" ....then I think Letterman spat the water. Prince did have other stuff to do this week. He had the show with Tamar on Thursday night to rehearse and perform at. I guess he was busy. | |
