I may be blasted for this but I don't care. After reading that list I honestly believe that if Prince follows it, his album will be commercially successful. How can it not be. It would be literally shoved down the public's throat. The die hards will be there for him anyway and would definitely enjoy the ride, but those mindless young MTV'rs will grasp anything that is "shoved" in their face.

Sometimes things hit, sometimes they don't.

i am not trying p1ss on anyone's chips, but sales notes are to be taken with a pinch of salt. i work at a record company and these things are basically cut n paste jobs. you just change the artist and project name. they usually come on several flavours;

International Superstar campaign

Domestic Priority Campaign

Mid level MOR / Urban / Rock / enter genre here Breakthrough Campaign.

i'm sure some of it will happen, but don't take it as fact. and that's without factoring in Prince's flakyness.

I remember going to see him in concert when Purple Rain was out." That just happened to me last week. It made me feel wonderful, for some reason.

But I would really love to see Prince do a Storytellers or Unplugged session. And seeing him do the talk show rounds again would be fun, too.

This is great news if it happens and I hope it does. I've said it befoe and I'll say it again, he needs to go where the kids are. He needs to go on TRL and 106th and Park and perform. He don't need to talk, just perform and show them 15 year olds what time it is.

Even bigger than that, I pray to the Lord above that this is an album/single worth promoting. Nothing worse than seeing big promotion for garbage and I love Prince and all but if the song ain't hot/album, then it won't sell. He's not Britney Spears.

With that said, since they may be sending "Black Sweat" to the clubs, this BETTER be the club banger I've been praying for from this man.

Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

If you remember the Jamms in LA this summer (from the reports by those there not me...) I sounded like a totaly Funky Jamm party...

Just get ready, caus it's gonna hit from EVERY angle to the point of nausium. But this is what everyone bitched about for so many years.. the LACK of this...

I for one perfered the Day's o Wild myself... i wish he was ours and no one else's... but it's obvious that being recognized and paid IS very important to P these days... so here we are... buying our Wonka bars !!!

I am getting one for every member of my family... but opening them before i distribute !!!
