i just saw prince's tour from 1985. it did suck bad. this guy can not sing how he does with his songs. he turns off the lights and then comes back soo msny minutes later. it kind of seemed he was trying hard to put on a good show. seriously, the part when he gave away his cover and pillow and the flowers; was unneccesary. and he looked BAD. his skinny, long head was disgusting.

the best tour i saw on t.v. was madonna's. she knows how to get the crowd louder. and although her dance steps aren't hard at all, she makes it seems fun and adventourous.

I think the main problem is that the set lighting for the tour was never really suited to being recorded on to video tape. This makes the show seem too "dark" for the most part (even on the official Syracuse recording). Perhaps this is the real reason why you didn't enjoy the show Suby?

Prince cannot sing? Prince looked disgusting with his big head? Is that a reasonable reason why a show suck because the performer is skinny and has a big head? Perhaps you have seen a rare bad Prince concert because the guy most definitely can sing...without the lip singing like Madonna and other acts normally does. Madonna can definitely dance very well and put on a great show but Prince can definitely play instruments, dance, sing (without lip singing) and have a great supporting band and put on a great show.

SubyDuby I know you don't seriously believe this. Prince is Gorgeous and very sexy maybe you don't get turned on because you are a guy. He's musically perfect. The Purple Rain tour was simply wonderful and so much fun. Madonna is cool in her own right and I dig her but there is only one Prince and he's number 1 in my book and he's the man baby, he's the man.

i was at one of the 1985 shows in L.A.
at the time it was one of the best shows i
ever seen or heard.it was in quad sound(four channel).
so when he would scream it would come from the stage and flow over yr head and go behind u 2 the left or right.
he would also have one instrument playing in one corner
of the building.it's hard 2 descibe.but the show was and still is a classic 4 all time.
