Hmmm, that snippet is the most I've heard of the song so far. Sadly, I'm not feeling that at all. It's very bland and tuneless. Hopefully they just chose an uninteresting bridge or something...

Playing it now. It's legit. Wow, this was a surprise.

Song is way mellow, orchestrated, belongs in a movie. On my second listen. Starts off very Cherry Moonish, but fuller and more brooding.

I like it, but need more time with it. A departure from any ballad I remember from him.

Wonder how long this will be up.

Interesting enough, if you search for "Te Amo Corazón" in iTunes, Prince's name shows up in the artist's list, but the song itself does not....

yeah... sounds like a b-side or something. i hope it strikes a nerve but i am not going to get my hopes up.

oddly enough its already for sale at iTunes.. which is a good thing, cause you dont have to have it in (Windows Media) and i'll tell ya.. i dont have to format it cause I use iTunes..

Just paid for it and downloaded it. Sweet groove. Looks like Prince is sampling/or using Claire Fischer again. It is definitely a grower.

the song is very mellow and cool.
definitely a smooth jazz format...perhaps an current r&b /classics format!

but i can't see how this song will be a hit for hot a/c...or pop formatted stations...i'm a big prince fan and work in the radio industry.
the song is good...but not an easy hit.

its definitely one of those "sade" type songs...but who knows, it may be a huge hit for the lil guy.
the video looks sure to sell the song.

i'm definitely looking forward to the album for some uptempo/funky jams.

I like it. It's definitely got that 'Under the Cherry Moon vibe' to it. The best part is the intro. Those strings + the piano are great!

The weakest part to me is the beat, it just sounds like one of those preprogrammed beats on a 50 dollar keyboard. However, the rest of the song does have some depth, so I'm sure it'll grow on me.

But I'll bet it'll flop as a single. It reminds me of The Greatest Romance Ever Sold. A good song, but too weird for commercial radio.


Ps. I have to say I'm very curious about the rest of the album. I hope he still managed to put some FUNK in this probably very latin flavored album...

It sounds boring as hell. The drums are the usual tap tap tap easy listening crap he has been turning out all too often these days. And he doesn't seem interested in pushing his best instrument, his voice, at all in the studio anymore.

It b-side stuff at best. I hope the album isn't in the same vain.
