Remember when Prince called in Anthony Kiedis to listen to "Diamond and Pearls" the album before it came out? And Kiedis was quoted as saying its the best stuff he's ever heard.

So does Anthony Kiedis think "Diamonds and Pearls" is better than "Purple Rain", "Sign O The Times", "1999", "Lovesexy", "Dirty Mind" then ?

Eh ?
Shut up already, damn.

I'm sorry, but there is no way that Prince and the RHCP should even consider making a song...with the way most non-Prince fans look at his music now compared to his 80's success, the whole thing would look like a cheap publicity stunt...Prince should stick to working with people he's discovered or worked with for several years...the only good thing that could come out of it would be that we possibly get to hear Prince with some actual rock like I love to hear from Prince...but that's just my 2 cents...

It would only work with prince just playing guitar with a pair of jeans and not singing.

You woulda Thought they Did. Anthony has a Quote about Prince in Tourbook with all the groups talking bout Prince. Plus, I thought Prince dug Keidas. I am SURE I READ a QUOTE PRINCE had Made about ANTHONY.

I dunno I think it would be kinda cool.

Prince is a great singer songwriter like Anthony Kiedis so it would be interesting to see what they would come up with and how they would influence each other.

I think it would maybe give Prince back his rougher edge.

Also I think it might influence Kiedis to write in a slightly more personal form like Prince.

Would be interesting no doubt !
Shut up already, damn.

- Actually, I would be already pretty happy if Prince jammed with Flea only...Flea does some amazing bass stuff...Prince on guitar....hmmm....biggrin

But if Prince joins them, I would like him to sing in normal voice, not falsetto...

I think he actually said "it was the best set of songs he'd ever heard" and not just Prince songs. So to answer your question - yes.

I would LOVE that personally biggrin
That would be such a sexy, rocking collaboration.

Much more interesting than a Beyonce duet. (not that I don't like her, but that so typical)
If you will, so will I

Prince is my fave artist but Anthony is high up on the list too.

I would love to see the two of them together.

Maybe a cover of ANY of their songs would be interesting.

In always wondered what those rock guys thought of Prince.

I always wondered if they ever listened to any of his music.
Shut up already, damn.

I'd love that! But only if there was equal input into the project, and not Prince making a primadonna of himself.

Lets hope so ans soon. I loved "By the Way" alot more than I loved anything by Prince lately. Prince could easily play some funky ass Flea bass next to Anthonys bombastic rap style.
