I liked the 1988 televised European TV appearance-Lovesexy and 1986 Birthday celebration (boot) of Parade.

I love 'em ALL!! Anytime he is on tv I am happy!! biggrin biggrin

I was watching an 85 awards show on Housequake the other day. I swear it was like it was happening right at that moment. I was sooo giddy! Even though I knew he was going to win, I was getting breathless as they read the nominees. I remember seeing it all live in 1985 but it was great reliving the excitment all over again. And his performance of Purple Rain was spectacular! cool Ahhh memories!!

SNL-Partyup(1980 or 1981)
Today Show 2004-he was so grumpy it was funny
Some German interview for Rave 1999-so funny with his pimp cane and seeing the reactions his young interviewers had to his questions.
That one interview in 2004-when he kept refusing to play and song and instead wanted the host(who's name I've forgotten) to sing Purple Rain
Jay Leno-Come On
Chris Rock-Face Down
MTV assless pants appearance-I wonder what the audience thought at the time when Tony M and the guys all fell on his naked ass and it looked like they were humping him. Maybe I need to see it again, but that was funny to me.

Yep, the reason for that freaky scream. Most Prince fans still don't understand it and have forced themselves not to believe that he was totally playing with a Sodom & Gomorrah allegory in the video and the live performance.

Without a doubt, the 1985 AMA is my fave. The Grammy's later that same year was funny as hell. The 87 MTV Awards was good. I also favor when P was on Solid Gold. He was on there twice during the 1999 album. First, he was on there performing "1999". Man, Lisa and Jill looked GOOOOOD! Then, again he came back later in 83 and performed "Little Red Corvette".

I think he tried to make a fool of Mel Gibson and his joke totally backfired.
He was a prick that night.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Was that '96? Wanna change that to '98? He performed "The One" on there from NPS. Sinbad's show ("Vibe") only lasted less than a year with him as host. razz
