Have a drink on Prince! Hi Folks,
No great shakes, but just wanted to mention that I was out with a drink with my mate after work this evening at a place attached to Edwards in Glasgow, Scotland - it's an eighties bar. My mate requested the DJ play Prince as he knows I'm a fan.. Well, the strains of 1999 started up, and he played a medley of that and Alphabet St., When Doves Cry, Hot Thing and something else I'm too drunk to remember.. lol I jumped on stage in front of everyone, all by myself, and danced my ass off!! The DJ was spouting some nonsense as I danced, but I was too focused on miming to 'Do you want to play with me?' to notice.. I sat back down, and one of the bar girls came up to us with a free bottle of champagne for my dancing! Wooohoo! Glad to be of service - I'm sure everyone appreciated my funky dancing, and hopefully the music too. As I said, no great shakes - but just wanted to mention.. Andrew.
