Well, might be fun for 10 mins, that is if it works on your PC.
It's pretty old now a days - Anyone know what OS it works with? Imagining it may not work with XP? On that note, did anyone ever get the Prince Mega(Sega)-CD? I haven't found it emulated yet, nor mentioned here in many years. [Edited 7/24/05 17:16pm] Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

Do you have any scans/info etc? Maybe it was being worked on and never got released? Many games never actually see the light of day... am very intruiged by this.

Well, I had a look around on Google, can't find too much, although I found this article: http://www.gamespot.com/g...p5_01.html
That page makes a quick quip about the Prince one, but no info. The series was called 'Make My Video', and it says only 4 were released: Kris Kross, C&C Music Factory, INXS, and Marky Mark ( ). So maybe the Prince one wasn't released - But I *know* I definately saw it in a magazine, it was definately in production, maybe it was gonna be in the 2nd wave, but the first releases might not have done very well (I don't think the MegaCD itself did very well, so....) Edit: Here's another page, which actually mentions the Prince one: http://www.eidolons-inn.n...egaCD.html There were more than just four titles planned for the Make My Video series. Since Sega and Sony shared the production chores for the series, each sought to secure various music acts for new releases. What Sony did is not clear, but Sega's efforts are well documented.
- Sega tried to line up some of the most popular recording acts of the day for Make My Video - including the likes of Pearl Jam, Soundgarten, the Spin Doctors, Soul Asylum, MC Hammer, Guns & Roses, REM, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The last two deserve special mention. REM was dearly sought by Sega for the Make My Video series debut, but contractural obligations prevented their otherwise willing participation. On the other hand, the Red Hot Chili Peppers demanded a ton of money up front before they would even look at a contract - and on top of that, Sega of America's female employees protested en masse against the group's mysgonistic attitudes and song lyrics. Within a year, both acts would be at the top of the music charts - and Sega would be at the bottom of the charts with its Marky Mark and Kris Kross releases for Make My Video. - The projected lineup for the series to follow Make My Video was to premiere with one of the best-known recording acts of the day. Prince, who had risen to pop music fame out of the Chicago [ ] nightclub scene, was secured for the first of the new Virtual VCR series of music video CDs by Digital Pictures. Unfortunately, this was about the same time that Prince entered into a serious contractural dispute with his recording label, Warner Brothers Records. He changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol and refused to do any projects as Prince until Warner either gave up its quest to secure exclusive rights to his master recordings or permitted him to end his contract. Virtual VCR wound up being a casualty in this dispute. [Edited 7/25/05 2:00am]

Lo-res graphics. Gotta love, 'em. Actually to be more truthful, this was one of the very first releases to support any sort of SVGA.

One does have to take that into consideration--like when playing original Nintendo games now. It was pretty cool in its day, but after going through everything once or twice, you kind of lose interest in it. It will work on XP, but you may run into issues with QuickTime. Interactive was designed to work with an older version of QuickTime that clashes with the newer versions. There's a way to fix this. Check out my original post about that issue in this thread: http://www.prince.org/msg/7/141590 "I Was FINE Back in the Day!"
