i noticed while watching purple rain that cloud guitar is very small.

i also read on org a few years ago that guitar builders make guitar that are smaller then usual guitar to aproppriate prince.

so i was wondering is he only playing small guitars or he is playing regular electric guitars sometimes???

maybe telecaster is regular size???

The Cloud and the Symbol guitars are 3/4 scale.

At DC for ONA I was first row in front of Takumi. So he would have to hand Prince the guitars etc. Well it got busy and he
sort of motioned for me to help him moving the guitars as Prince kept changing them.
So I picked up the symbol guitar--light as a feather and tiny. Big diifference betwewen those and a gibson les paul.

no matter the size, Prince will make love 2 it. however, i think his signature guitars are built 2 scale. look at the difference in the Hohner, and the Cloud, or even, the Name Piece. the latter 2 looking more his size.

On the serious side:

does the size of the guitar make a difference in the sound of an *electric* guitar?

is this why P had the cloud and symbol guitars made, so that he could have a guitar more comfortable for his hands to play?
