The emotion n this short nterlude of music xemplifies xactly what is so breathtaking about his musical approach n this album. Hidden, repressed feelings, struggling to break free n express themselves. Miles Davis would have been proud with this piece.

What little moments on albums come 2 mind right now that just make u dig Prince?

4 me it's the "Father's Song" guitar solo in "Computer Blue"

there is sooooo much emotion in that....

4 me, its the keyboard flurry b tween "glam slam" and "anna stesia" on LOVESEXY....perfect transition from "happy happy glam slam" 2 "dark, brooding, annna stesia". down right creepy!!

that industrial clangy-clangy-clangy noise at the end of 'christopher tracy's parade' that blends so well with the steel drum at the beginning of 'new position'
the psychadelic segue between 'play in the sunshine' and 'housequake'
the absolute hilarious chaos from the middle to the end of the song 'lovesexy' (the 'making love with only words' stuff)
the freakin' beginning of 'the future', where the mood of the entire album is laid out for you in the introduction of the first song.
