Prince and Lenny at the Rave Un2 show

Did Prince deliberately steal the show during "American Woman," or did Lenny just feel a bit stiff?

I feel as if Prince made Lenny look a bit lame in his own song.

The performance showed up who is the real talent. That is, unless Lenny was just having a bad day.

my guess is that although Prince is a much better guitar player than Lenny, it was probably decided before that it would go that way, Lenny has much respect for Prince, and was his show, in Lennys own shows he never just stands there and plays like that.
