I have no idea. All the straight men I know wear make-up and high heels, have feminine gestures, wear lace pants, wear a veil, etc. I have no idea why people would question his straightness.

The Short is no, Prince is decidedly heterosexual. There is no basis to believe anything otherwise other than stupid stereotyping based on his flambouyant dress sense, propensity to sing in falsetto, and occasional effeminate mannerisms. All of these things are things that other rockstars and male R&B singers of the past have done but no one's ever thought they were gay simply because they aren't as short, skinny and as racially ambiguous as Prince. Personally I think he seems much less effeminate the more familiar you become with his work and the way he carries himself in concert, and Prince has never even been rumored to have had a relationship or sexual encounter with another man and every biography of him has portrayed him as an inveterate womanizer.
