One of my friends told me that Prince and Larry sat in the handicapped section...that's why you see so many elderly ..see the crutches?
Prince would be less of a distraction there.
I was also told of a conversation one handicapped visitor had with Prince there.
You are right...most of those folk don't know who Prince is...lol!
Last time I talked to Trevor, he told me he was studying also...but that's been a while, so he may be there as bodyguard or as friend.
So...how's everybody doing? smile

No they do not get paid. They are volunteers and they have said it many times over in chat room.
"we don't get paid, we are volunteers".

Plus I don't want to be a "I am in with the in" person but I do know they don't get paid.

But really that don't matter. I can see a site where mods are needed to help out, but not for as much work as they do for such a rich man. biggrin .
There is motive behind ANYBODY working for a rich man for free.

are we talking about mods at npgmc or bodyguards? im confused.....

i just cant see a bodyguard not getting paid....thats wierd.

An opinion is not a judgement. Sure, I could be wrong if the opinion is not in line with what most want to hear.
If I was to say, "How can anybody waste so much of their time doing volunteer work for a rich man, yet not donate that time to the poor community" THAT would be judgeing smile

But heiress, you never answered me back about is that would Jesus would do to the sinners, disfellowship them, turn his back on them when they stumbled upon sin.

Of course he is studying. Makes it less boring when you have to sit and protect somebody in a kingdom hall, convention, assembly whatever smile

Not so sure about the studying, he looks pretty drowsy if not outright asleep in that pic! lol But it's not a crystal-clear close up so can't tell for sure... wink

I was there. Although he sold out 6 nights in a row. I saw him on a Sunday at 4:30. It was weird for him to have a matinee show.

Every time I watch the other people news, I see a false picture of myself, another one of u. They try 2 tell us what we want, what 2 believe. Didn't that happen in the Garden, when somebody spoke 2 Eve? But I'm willin'....

Oh my God. I don't remember.....actually I think he played Controversy behind the curtain. Then he left and came back several minutes later. The crowd....well you can just imagine.

Thanks for the date of that performance. My best friend has been punishing me ever since that concert. I didn't hang on to my tickets stub. He has it and wont give it to me because I was sooooo "irresponsible".

Oh, I would've loved to see that...er...um....hear that. You know, that is one of my favorite Prince songs and I always forget about it. Is that possible.

So what exactly was this event? Was this a "church service," so to speak, or a convention?

If I were sitting there, what sort of things would I expect to hear: guidance on how to "witness" to others about JW? Information/news about the JW organization itself? Actual theological teachings ("sermons" or however you might put it, lectures, etc.)? Some combination of these? Or other stuff? confuse
