The record might even be finished, but then finding a label and distributor, negoitiating a deal and then having that distributor schedule the record release could take nearly a year. Keep the faith! It seems a lot of Prince's unreleased stuff is better (IMO) than the stuff that does get released.

i think that the rumors of wendy's involvement in prince album are true and let hope it is. i also read on housequake that wendy's involvement are whispering louder. it be nice that they tour too but i feel that i asking too much here. as long as she involved in his album that all it matters. wendy is such a great producer. wendy is supertalent and i wish that her talent is well-known to the public. i heard that she producing for a girls band called the like and tht their album supposed to be out in the fall. as far as lisa i wonder if she and prince are cool again and maybe so as i heard that she suppose to be involved too.i know many of you guys are both naturally wendy and lisa fans but lisa doesn't impressed me as much and i could care less if she was involved in prince's album or not.

Won't it be tight if not only prince release a single feature wendy's involvement but also of her appeared in the video. it would be the first time they did a video together in nearly twenty years. just him and wendy in a new video like kiss.

You know, call me crazy, but I just wonder if he is planning some kind of new amalgamation of both the Revolution and NPG. Wouldn't that be FUNKY as a mug? Also, I wonder if anyone remembers that some time ago, Sheila E. was talking about doing another pop/commercial album a few years ago. I wonder if they are combining visions? At any rate, there seems to be a lot of secrecy with this project.

Now then, imagine this lineup:

Prince: Whatever
Wendy: Guitar
Lisa: Keyboards
Renato Neto: Keyboards
Rhonda: Bass
John Blackwell: Drums (or Morris Day?)
Sheila E: Percussion
Jerome: Backup

This would be a good mix of the Revolution, NPG and Lovesexy band. Wendy's guitar playing is good to rub up to Rhonda's bass, and Lisa and Renato would be a good compliment (or maybe Dr. Fink?) Man, oh man! Or should I say, "Oh, my funkin' God"

This may sound strange, but I would like 2 hear a mix of Heaven and Hell on the next P joint. I love the spirit side of Prince, but oh how I miss that dirty, funky, raw and wild side too.
