Nah... u ain't gonna make me listen to this album again just to see what songs should get voted off first. There's only three songs on this album that are at least halfway decent, and everyone knows what those are -- so why not skip to the final three and vote out the rest right now?

New Power Soul is a supreme album, the fact that u all cant see that jus makes it cooler in my eyes... Diamonds and Pearls=Accessible cheese 4 the masses.
New Power Soul=Deep and sophisticated funk, 4 those with finnesse. Stay blind and continue to show ya ignorance to the masses. I pity you fools. Why did I waste my words on you? | |

NPS is not some jewel that only the "in" ppl get - P was aiming for mass D&P-style appeal here too (as with Rave), it's just that no-one was interested (for once they were right!). The title track is way funkier than anything he's done lately... and that piano in "Mad Sex" is off the hook! New Power Soul is an outright embarassment. It's worse than anything Tony M. and Kirky J. ever did. Shoo be doo is terrible too but New Power Soul is the worst. |
