Was the Truth not included in the original poll? Of these, my favorite right now is the Rainbow Children. After around 8 months since it was released (i forget when club members first got it), I still listen to it daily.

It's interesting that Lovesexy is a favorite of so many, it was somewhat of a disappointment when it came out and didn't sell well if I recall correctly. Don't get me wrong I love it, just an observation.

I vote for a 1999/Purple Rain/Rainbow Kids tie.

And if all else fails I vote for 1999 at #1 just because it gets no respect.

Purple Rain gets little respect too (with hardcores), because it's been played on the radio so much and it's taken for granted, but ... more will vote for it.

And if all else and even more than that fails I can't vote for them Rainbow Kids at all because not enough time has past. We're dealing with retrospect with the other albums, aside from TRC the next youngest is 14 years old. TRC is still an infant at a little less than 6 months old. Treat it with kid gloves.

Chocolate Starfish & The Coffee Flavored Water is my favorite. I thought it was great that Prince did an album of tender ballads done in a thrash metal style.
