Same topic? Clearly. Ripoff? Hardly. Maybe the subject of "My Little Pill" was (consciously or not) inspired by the Stones'. Why not developping its own skills on a topic already approached by another artist? I see no problem in that.

Uhm, it was recorded for the movie "I'll Do Anything"
so it's probably inspired by that?

I don't know, I've never seen the movie since Prince
tunes were all left out of it.

But I suppose Prince would not write a song about a
topic like that (well "song" is a big word it is a
segue at best) for a movie unless it had a subject
similar to it in the script.

Otherwise it would have been like submitting a song
like "Sex Shooter" for a movie like "Brother Bear".
