I love U in me! One thing to change......

I was listening to this song the other day, great song, have always loved it, but, anyone else think this song would be vastly improved if the casio keyboard sound was replaced by a real piano???? The mood of this song in my opinion would work a lot better with a real piano. The cheap sounding synth detracts greatly from the true potential of this song.

Peace

It's the 'surgery' lyric that I'd select as the one thing to change.

Um, yeah.

I love this song though. His voice is awesome on this, kind of monotone but I love the harmonizing.

I'd change nothing. It's one of his bast, moodiest, sexiest songs ever, and to me, synthetisizer really belongs to Prince. All I need is Prince, guitar and synth, and it's bound to be sexy and delicious. And another thing, am I the only one who gets the surgery? The only one who thinks it's sexy as it is? Funny!

I'm sure it had Prince in stitches.

It was on a single - B-side to 'The Arms Of Orion', and included on the Hits / The B-sides Album release.

I actually like the synth I don't know if it would be the same with a real piano. I love the part "I promise myself not to come untill she does" Don't know why but I just do.Hee Hee.

i wouldnt get rid of the surgery lyric
or the backround voices using that same lyric

heres a song with a great very serious love theme
and who else but prince would be able to put a slice of comedy
in it, and the song still works wonderfully

not many could pull it off

they probably had a laugh in the recording studio 2

Co-sign. This song makes me want to blow chunks. There is such a small pool of P songs that I put in the category of "embarrassing rubbish," and this is among that elite group, along with "Graffiti Bridge" and "Jughead." No offense leadline, but I just can't stomach "I Love U In Me."

I never liked the fact that the opening notes sound almost exactly like the chorus to Berlin's "Take My Breath Away."

The synths are very much of that time.

I'd change the lyrics. I think Prince wanted that effect on people.

Lovely song though.

Giving it some thought now, it does have a cheap lazy quality to it, it's like one of those songs he just craps out and doesn't really want to work on it. It's not a bad song but it does sound like a cheese sandwich with no butter, and no grill.

Good song, but it was nice to add a drum beat in the background

I've been tryin to do with FL Studio, but I really don't know how to use it.
