The Holy Grail is used as a symbol of unatainable perfection...

So I guess in Prince's case, it would be something like:
-A colour print of Under The Cherry Moon
-A remastered Purple Rain album with all the extended versions and unreleased songs
-A video of the Small Club performance
-Keys to The Vault! ... sigh!

Anyway, I guess the most valuable/sentimental thing I have is my first concert ticket!

I had some albums from around the lovesexy /black album era that were vinyl, one was clear but dark purple color, one was was light purple but opaque, one was white with purple marble-ing. all of em them had marbling, the purple albums with the shite marble...they were the dopest Prince item I owned and I had a pretty extensive collection.I had interview picture 45's with Prince in a package that I hung on the wall, bnut those albums were the tightest.lost em in a damn storage auction, those lil' bastards!

I'd be interested in the 1986 Birthday Show in Detroit..

I had tickets for that and my parents planned my high school graduation party for that same day...
I held the tickets til the last minute hoping that all the old folks would be gone and I could still make the show..
Instead, a bunch of my friends went (including a girl who is now my wife) and they all said it was the BEST...
so.. I still have NEVER seen it...

Soundboard cd's of "City Lights" (all ten disks)
Crystal clear Dvds of "City Lights" (however many dvds it would take to capture each concert in full)

Is it the IWUH 12" you're talking of? I think all of them are kinda marbled and vary in colour between dark blueish and purple. The marble-like effect is most notably to be seen when held against the light because they're kind of opaque too, as you mentioned. Also, most of them - if not all - bear some darker areas. Much as if black hasn't been mixed perfectly into the rest. Two of them, one rather blue, one rather purple I keep in my collection... next to the two copies of the clear vinyl Batdance 12" smile (one with original label, one white labeled).

For me this MUST be

1) A VIDEO RECORDING from 24. November 1994 / Tränenpalast Berlin

2) The ONA SOUNDCHECK ZÜRICH, Switzerland 2002

3) A VIDEO RECORDING from BIRTHDAY PARTY 1992 Munich, Germany
