Does anyone know who all the players were on While My Guitar Gently Weeps? I know their names, apart from P and Petty, i can't put names to faces. Who's the beardy bloke? etc.

Jeff Lynne from ELO, he produced Harrison's & Wilbury records.
Also Dhani Harrison, George's son, who looks just like him. I don't know the rest, though I think they're Harrison's old band. I recommend you check out "Concert for George" if you liked any of this other than Prince's solo. It's a pretty good group of musicians (like Petty, Lynne, Clapton, McCartney, Billy Preston, Ringo) and in the end, one of the biggest rock bands I've ever seen. Three drummers, percussion, about eight guitarists, strings, backup singers 2 or 3 keyboardists, and they keep it all together. More like a rock orchestra. A bunch of old white hasbeens and nobody's. John Lennen's son (or was it Goerge Harrison) couldn't take his eyes off of Prince's balls! He totally wanted to suck him off! Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Couple other old hasbeens & nobody's? no disrespect to the late John Lennon or the late George Harrison but they were not on stage, thier sons were, and they were sweatin Prince and his guitar skills. They totally had Prince boners!  Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. [Edited 3/25/05 1:40am] that's pretty accurate. there was another guitarist playing the early bits on the song b4 P comes in, the drums was actually Ray Cooper and the percussion was Jim Capaldi from Traffic (who were inducted that night as well). The bass i have no idea. and the other keys player was another guy who i think played with Sting on the ...All This Time Live dvd. | |

In the Concert for George, yes, but not the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame performance. I didn't notice Steve Winwood, though he was in the audience in Concert for George! Check this song out at:

uve now actually made me realise that you dont really know anything about music. Is Prince the only artist in ure record collection???
