I know it may seem obvious with all the award ceremonies he is doing latley but do you think Prince is trying to capture the world wide media attention on the level of Purple rain or D&P days? He has been in the media an awfuly lot since Musicology which I realise is not all his doing but some of the attention is like doing interviews and stuff which he had to be hunted down for in the eighties. I think he was a bit miffed in the late ninties when it seemed like he was being ignored. So do you think he is not satisfied just being a cult figure and wants the fame again? Or do you think he just doesn't care?

Prince will never care what people think. He knows he's a legend and an icon that will never be forgotten.

He probably wants to do fun stuff for Mani.

I think he is enjoying his new found "freedom" now that his lawsuit has been settled with W/B.

He, after being "banned" from hollywood, came back with not only a sold out # 1 tour but a "Hey, I got them, I won" attitude

Prince always seems to start popping out & around when it come close to the Grammys. He probably does it because his wife is into all these shows. He went to the 2004 Oscars.Or maybe, could it be he only goes to these shows for the expensive gift basket they usually give away to all the presenters.

I think he misses all the attention and possibly some of his old band mates but the way he reacts to the attention my throw a few people off. Mostly because he's probably forgotten how much he is loved by all.

Prince isn't as underappreciated by the "average household" as much as people may think. I know of plenty parents who are exposing their children to Prince. Just like you don't see people throwing around most icons names but you best believe they haven't forgotten who they are.

Anyways, I think Prince framed Michael Jackson so he would loose his status as the King of Pop. This would allow Prince to rise to the top and finally not have to worry about Michael Jackson making music then Prince will finally be King!
